I'm so excited about Harper & Zoey's room, so I thought I'd share some pictures of what they'll have come mid December. There will also be more pictures to come!

.Bring On December.
The end of November has finally come, and tomorrow Mitch will officially be a Staff Seargant. He was promoted with his E6 rank, and I couldn't be more proud of him! He also got a job at headquarters, which has already made his work days less hours. In his other company he wasn't getting home till around 7 which was driving us nuts. So it will be a nice change of pace. He is still deploying this coming summer, so hopefully this new job will keep him safer. As of tomorrow Zoey & I are going on 34 weeks with only 6 more to go! This pregnancy has gone by so fast, Mitch and I can't believe it. It felt like forever to get Harper here, and now she's already 2 years old!
Our Christmas cards are almost all addressed, then will be sent off, to hopfefully make it to the states in time. The mailroom is going to start getting very busy.
For Christmas we have decided to take Harper to Gardaland, which is an amusement park past Verona. It'll be chilly, but they're having an Alvin & the Chipmunks show.(which right now is her favorite movie.)we'll also take her to the Aquarium. So that should be fun. We plan on staying the night, and just enjoying our time together.
Mom has been sending boxes of baby stuff like crazy, and I'm in the beginning stages of getting this house back in order since I left work. But it's going to take a lot of work, not really, but it's just finding the motivation to get it done. I've picked out all the bedding and Harper's bed and stuff for the girls' room. I'm really excited about it.
Everything is going good for us right now. December & January are full of exciting, new, and fun times to come. We couldn't be more blessed.

Turkey Day 2011
Thanksgiving was a nice day, we had about 10 people over, which brightened Harper's day. I prepared dinner for probably 20 people so we had so much left overs. Our turkey was good, but getting it out of the oven only started a grease fire in the oven....yup I was trying to do everything myself, had I only waited about 1 more minute Mitch and the boys would have been here to help me. luckily Harper was taking a nap upstairs. Our house was full of smoke, but only for about an 1hr. haha, other than that we had a nice day. We served: appetizers, turkey, ham, pasta salad, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes & gravy, cheesy beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, apple & cherry pie. It was quite the menu, and quite the prep work, but Mitch and I had fun putting it all together the night before.

Happy Birthday Harper McKell!
<3 2 years ago, we had a beautiful baby girl, with her daddy on skype. 1 year ago, she turned 1 and he sang her happy birthday and watched her blow out the candle...on skype. Today she is 2, & her Daddy is Here! ♥
Happy Birthday to our Beautiful Birthday girl! Mommy & Daddy are so proud, and love you more than you could ever imagine. You're our everything! Harper is the BIG 2!!
We celebrated yesterday Nov. 19, with our friends here in Italy. Harper had a lot of fun, and was more than spoiled! We had cake, and pizza, She loved everyone singing the birthday song to her, and more importantly her daddy was able to be here. It was memorable, and we couldn't have asked for a better turn out. We have such amazing people in our lives, and the love for Harper is incredible. Thank you to everyone in her life!

Italy!
2011 has been a cRaZy yet AWESOME year!
January - Febuary were me spending a ton of time driving back and forth between Twin and Mt. Home, trying to get me & Harper to Italy to be with Mitch...and as HUGE of a pain it was, it was so worth it! But on March 13th We boarded the plane and left everyone in Idaho and the states to head to wine country!
The one thing that Happend this year that I wish I could take back was that we had to put our Jordan down...he was an awesome, loving dog, but had an incedent that we couldn't let happen a 3rd time. (lets just say Harper and Joey)-Alyssa's little brother, have some scaring that will heal, but unfortunatly couldn't be overlooked. He will always be our first baby, and we will always love him very much, and miss him everyday! I wasn't going to put this in, it's hard for me and I can't help but cry, but I just feel my booboo needs some love too!
Gidget is still a ball of fire and is back in the states with my mom and dad, but we are excited to get her back with us as soon as we are stateside. Harper loves seeing her on skype and tells her to "come here gidgy." and tries to pet here through the screen.
We have welcomed Charlie into the family though here in Italy, he is a black lab and is so far so good, just chewed up a couple things, but Harper loves him and loves to sneak his dog food....yuk lol. so yeah that's a pups update haha.
We arrived in Italy on March 15th, and after a long and dreadful time of flying, we were happy to be in our new home, and with the man in our life! Harper remembered him like he was never gone, and loves loves loves her daddy. They are best pals!
We live in Northern Italy, and have yet only traveled to Jeselo Beach, Lake Garda ( a couple times), Verona, Venice, and a few other smaller places. Italy is amazing, but it's so different from the states.
Here's a list of just some other places we cannot wait to get to visit:
*ROME!!
*Florence
*Pisa
*Tuscany
*Milan
There's so much we want to do and see, but of course with Mitch's schedule at work it's hard sometimes.
Harper is talking more and more now. She is so much fun to watch and listen too.
she loves books, bugs, animals, movies, & balls. She keeps us on our toes and has a growing vocabulary and loves to sing and dance. She's growing up so fast, and is as naughty and busy as she is sweet and loving. We are so proud, she is such a big girl, and is simply amazing!
I started working at the daycare here on the post we live, in May and it's been a fun job, Harper started daycare and absolutaly LOVES it, she has amazing teachers and is just as spoiled there as she is at home. But as of yesterday 11/15/11 I put my 2 weeks in. I am so excited to be home again with Harper, and get ready for our new arrival!!!
THAT'S RIGHT! WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY GIRL!!
Zoey McKayla is Due January 12th, and we cannot wait for Harper to be a big sister!!
We have so much to do before she comes, and potty training a 2 year old is the first on the list! But she is so ready! and so am I! haha
For Halloween Harper was a pirate and loved trick-o-treating, she had so much fun, and got to do it with some great friends.
Harper turns 2 on Sunday November 20th, I can't believe how fast this year has gone already. we are celebrating on Saturday with a cupcake themed party, and having some of her favorite peopl over.
Thanksgiving is going to be back to normal for Mitch & I since last year and '09, Harper and I were home, but since Mitch and I have been married every Thanksgiving has been spent hosting dinner to the soldiers who don't go home, and I can't tell you how good it feels to be able to open my home to them.
So that is a Thewes Family 2011 January to November update, and I promise to do my best and start posting more often, and putting more pictures on here as well.
I hope everyone is having a good year! Ciao!
