Our girls

Be Happy, smile, laugh, & take a thousand pictures

-It's been a minute since I've wrote on here. Things are wonderful. Today is Mother's Day, and I am so blessed to have my beautiful daughters, and their amazing daddy. We had a nice relaxing day, and continuous moments that remind me of why I am so blessed. -Italy is great, but it's time to head back stateside soon. Come August we will be back in 'Merica. We are looking forward to that, but also to these last couple months here. It's going to definitely be bittersweet when we leave. -Harper is 3 years old now, and is such a fun spirited, and bright, beautiful girl. She's got a naughty, and sassy streak too, but we wouldn't trade that for anything. She definitely keeps us on our toes. She's in pre-school, and loves it. She is learning so much, and is incredibly smart. -Zoey, oh man...Where do I begin. She is quite the character. She is so smart, and naughty. Mitch and I could just watch her for hours and not get bored, haha. She's so beautiful, and is so sweet and fun loving. She's very busy, and is starting to talk, and run. She's very fast! -Things are going good, we have a beautiful family, and some wonderful friends. Our future can only get brighter.

.The Girls' Room.

I'm so excited about Harper & Zoey's room, so I thought I'd share some pictures of what they'll have come mid December. There will also be more pictures to come!

.Bring On December.

The end of November has finally come, and tomorrow Mitch will officially be a Staff Seargant. He was promoted with his E6 rank, and I couldn't be more proud of him! He also got a job at headquarters, which has already made his work days less hours. In his other company he wasn't getting home till around 7 which was driving us nuts. So it will be a nice change of pace. He is still deploying this coming summer, so hopefully this new job will keep him safer. As of tomorrow Zoey & I are going on 34 weeks with only 6 more to go! This pregnancy has gone by so fast, Mitch and I can't believe it. It felt like forever to get Harper here, and now she's already 2 years old!

Our Christmas cards are almost all addressed, then will be sent off, to hopfefully make it to the states in time. The mailroom is going to start getting very busy.

For Christmas we have decided to take Harper to Gardaland, which is an amusement park past Verona. It'll be chilly, but they're having an Alvin & the Chipmunks show.(which right now is her favorite movie.)we'll also take her to the Aquarium. So that should be fun. We plan on staying the night, and just enjoying our time together.

Mom has been sending boxes of baby stuff like crazy, and I'm in the beginning stages of getting this house back in order since I left work. But it's going to take a lot of work, not really, but it's just finding the motivation to get it done. I've picked out all the bedding and Harper's bed and stuff for the girls' room. I'm really excited about it.

Everything is going good for us right now. December & January are full of exciting, new, and fun times to come. We couldn't be more blessed.

Turkey Day 2011

Thanksgiving was a nice day, we had about 10 people over, which brightened Harper's day. I prepared dinner for probably 20 people so we had so much left overs. Our turkey was good, but getting it out of the oven only started a grease fire in the oven....yup I was trying to do everything myself, had I only waited about 1 more minute Mitch and the boys would have been here to help me. luckily Harper was taking a nap upstairs. Our house was full of smoke, but only for about an 1hr. haha, other than that we had a nice day. We served: appetizers, turkey, ham, pasta salad, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes & gravy, cheesy beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, apple & cherry pie. It was quite the menu, and quite the prep work, but Mitch and I had fun putting it all together the night before.
